Polish artist Wiktor Bezrukow was born in 1972, lives and works in Białystok. He signs his work with the pseudonym Wiktor Bezrukow, and his real name is Piotr Łagucik. He discovered the fine arts in his childhood. In 1986, he attended the High School of Fine Arts in Supraśl, choosing artistic weaving as his specialization. This school gave him a solid practical education in the field of painting and graphic techniques, designing tapestries and artistic textiles, as well as art history. In 1992, he began his higher education at the stage design department of the School of Fine Arts "Schola Posnaniensis" in Poznań. After returning to Białystok, he started his professional career in the advertising industry as a graphic designer and designer of large format advertisements. He returned to painting in 2005 and since 2010 painting has been his only job. His style is instantly recognizable. It is a colorful, joyful figurative art with elements of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist and Art Deco painting, it also refers to the Byzantine art of icon writing.
